1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HotelsPaddie (hotelspaddie.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all users including guests, hotel partners, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

HotelsPaddie is an online travel agency (OTA) that connects travellers with hotel accommodations across Nigeria. We facilitate bookings between guests and hotel partners but are not ourselves a hotel or accommodation provider. We act as an intermediary and are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of listed properties.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• One person may not maintain more than one guest account

4. Bookings and Payments

Making a booking: When you complete a booking, you enter into a direct contract with the hotel. HotelsPaddie facilitates this transaction but is not a party to that contract.

Payment: All payments are processed in Nigerian Naira (₦) via Paystack. By making a booking, you authorise us to charge the total amount shown at checkout.

Booking confirmation: Your booking is confirmed only after successful payment and a confirmation email is sent. We recommend checking your spam folder if you do not receive a confirmation.

Pricing: Room prices are set by hotel partners and may change at any time. The price displayed at checkout is the price you will be charged.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by hotel. Please review the specific cancellation policy displayed on each hotel listing before booking. See our Cancellation Policy for full details. Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

6. Hotel Partner Terms

Hotel partners who list properties on HotelsPaddie agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information about their properties
• Honour all confirmed bookings made through the platform
• Maintain the standards and amenities advertised on their listing
• Pay the agreed commission rate on all bookings
• Comply with all applicable Nigerian laws and hospitality regulations
• Not solicit guests to book directly outside the platform for repeat stays

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews or content
• Attempt to manipulate search results or booking systems
• Use automated bots or scrapers to access our platform
• Circumvent our commission system by booking directly after initial discovery
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any user or hotel partner
• Share your account credentials with third parties

8. Reviews and Content

You may submit reviews and ratings for hotels you have stayed in. By submitting content, you grant HotelsPaddie a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and modify that content. You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, HotelsPaddie shall not be liable for:

• The quality, safety, or availability of any hotel listed on the platform
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Losses arising from third-party services (payment processors, SMS providers, etc.)
• Force majeure events including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking giving rise to the claim.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on HotelsPaddie including logos, text, images, and software is owned by HotelsPaddie Technologies Limited or its licensors and is protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or platform notification. Continued use of HotelsPaddie after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
